I highly recommend them both, as he dives into some of your questions. I loved reading them both. Barbara Kingsolver's Animal, Vegetable, Miracle -- also a totally good book in this area. I read all of these before Food, Inc. and then when I saw the movie it was like it was just a simplified version of what the books talk about. Not that it's not good, but it just skims the surface of what books are able to delve more deeply into. How about that grammar!
